Can Inception be Mal's and Mile's plan to plant an idea into Cobb's mind that his world is not real?

Mal tells him in level 4 that he doesn't know that he's dreaming.
Miles too tells him Paris that Cobb needs to wake up and come back to
reality. How exactly did Miles end up at the LA airport in the climax
if he lives in Paris?
